Top 10 Skills of 2025
The World Economic Forum in their report “The Future of Jobs Report 2020” lists the following top ten skills and skill groups which employers see as rising in prominence in the lead up to 2025:
Half of these skills are problem-solving skills, including critical thinking, creativity, and innovation. One-fifth are self-management skills such as learning and resilience. Another fifth is technology use and development, followed by leadership.
As an employer, the question is how to sustainably build and enhance these skills in the workforce. Sending everyone to expensive business schools is not a viable route. Today, employers want employees to learn new skills primarily on the job and through virtual training courses. The latter have the advantage of allowing employees to decide when and how quickly they want to learn or improve a skill. Hence, it makes a lot of sense at first. However, while introductions and basic knowhow can be delivered in this way, it is almost impossible to get targeted learnings in the company’s industry or practical insights, as the online trainers may not be from your industry or from academia with less practical knowledge. In addition, online courses usually do not allow students to ask their own questions.
This is where Corporate Life Mastery comes in, with years of practical experience as an executive leader and the dedication to bringing out the best in each individual. In small groups, the most important skills for the future are trained in interactive in-house courses. This can be done in interactive full-day in-person courses or virtual sessions spanned over several days. Group coaching after the course, where topics are repeated and questions are answered, makes it a profound, transformative learning experience.
